Description
The Analogis HS-17 Wood headshell is crafted from high-quality cherry wood and designed for cartridges with the standard 1/2-inch mounting. It is compatible with turntables from most manufacturers using J-shaped or S-shaped tonearms with an SME bayonet mount and locking collar.
The wooden construction not only enhances the visual appeal of the turntable but also contributes to controlled resonance behaviour. Slotted mounting holes allow precise overhang adjustment during cartridge installation, supporting accurate alignment and stable tracking.
Signal transmission is handled by premium, colour-coded headshell leads with silver-plated conductors made from 7N oxygen-free copper and gold-plated contacts, ensuring clean and low-loss audio transfer. A rubber washer is included to provide a secure, vibration-resistant connection between the headshell and the tonearm.
With an effective weight of approximately 10.0 g, the HS-17 Wood offers a balanced mass suitable for a wide range of cartridges and listening setups, making it an excellent choice for both functional upgrades and aesthetic enhancement.
